9 Reasons Why Rick James Was A Superfreak.

Man, if you gotta go out, this sounds like the way to go out:

From CNN: Coroner: 9 drugs found in Rick James' system

Flamboyant funk musician Rick James had nine drugs in his system when he died suddenly in August, including cocaine, methamphetamine, valium and vicodin, according to a coroner's report Thursday.

James, 56, died in his sleep on August 6 in his Los Angeles home of a heart attack, but the drugs in his system likely contributed to the organ's failure, the report said.
Gee, ya think?

Hell, I chug *Coca-Cola* too fast and I get an arrhythmia.

In an exclusive I-Team investigation, Garfield Ridge has learned what the *other* five drugs found in Rick James system were:
1. THG
2. Mad Dog 20/20
3. Mentos
4. Fish paralyzer
5. P-Funk Soul

My girl wants to party all the time, or else.

Then again, the Superfreak wasn't all cool funk and soul, as we're horrifically reminded by this ABC News obituatry from last August:
James was convicted in 1993 of assaulting two women. The first case occurred in 1991, when prosecutors said James and his girlfriend tied a woman to a chair, burned her with a hot crack pipe and forced her to perform sex acts during a cocaine binge at his West Hollywood home. He was free on bail when the second assault occurred in 1992 in James' hotel room. He served more than two years in prison.
Rick James: May God rest his soul.
