The Lost.

Nearly half of the dead of 9/11 can't be identified.

The New York City Medical Examiner has chosen to end the identification process until, perhaps one day, better technology comes along.

It may not mean much to some, but my guess is, the lack of closure will be painful for the family members of those victims still unidentified.

How terribly sad.
